A rare mid-century Italian table lamp by Carlo Scarpa for Venini, circa 1950, formed in delicate vetro a filigrana. The rounded glass body is worked with fine internal threads of opaque milk white glass, giving the piece a subtle architectural rhythm and a beautifully diffused surface when lit.

Scarpa’s work for Venini is among the most refined and collectable of 20th-century Murano glass production, combining technical experimentation with a restrained, sculptural elegance.
